This rug is so rubbish. It's no more than a floppy bit of fluffy material and you can't set anything down on it because it's so thin and flimsy that it just always ends up having bumps and creases in. Pretty colour but absolute lies in the description as there is no thick foam.

As a result of some poor reviews, I was very dubious about buying this in August, 2024, but took the risk. Here are my thoughts after about six months: * perfect for my conservatory; * lightweight, but very fluffy and delightfully soft underfoot; * lovely colour, accurate to advertisement; * easily hoovered; * whereas the previous rugs in the room regularly migrated, this one--anchored by a sofa and a table on two sides--has not moved an inch, curled or shifted; * my dogs love it; * it has added a very cosy feel to the conservatory in the current very cold weather. .....Just ordered another.....

I bought this to replace a hessian backed rug we had had for a few years, as it had several large kinks we could not flatten down. The rug is not the 3.5cm in height and the base is not the 1cm as in the description, if you pull the pile up and hold it, you might just get to 3cm, but even that is doubtful. The pile itself is very silky and quite slippy. We have carpet in our living room, so didn’t exactly need a super thick pile, but for the price had hoped for more than I got. The rug sits under a large coffee table and is more for a visual aspect as our living room is quite large. I am not sure how the pile would stand up to being walked on frequently. If you want a rug to go on a hard floor for softness and comfort under foot, I would look for something better, definitely hessian backed.
